How can I satisfy my sweet tooth in a healthy way?

Anyone else have a problem saying no to your cravings? I especially have a problem when I get to the end of the day. I'm tired, worn down from dealing with the day, and am in the bad habit of pigging out on the couch while I let my brain veg. I need some more ideas on ways to make healthy choices when it comes to snacks and especially when those sugar cravings hit. Ideas?

Green Smoothies are awesome! I really need to make sure to keep those ingredients on hand.

I've also noticed that if I have fresh fruit or veggies already cut up and prepared I'm more likely to choose those.

I keep popcorn on hand for my night time snacking. I can have salty, sweet, or whatever for not that many calories. I think most full bags are actually only 100 calories. Plus it fills you up.

Smoothies, air-popped popcorn (no butter), and fruit crisps without the butter basically keep me from gaining all my weight back.
I also like to keep fresh produce on hand so I can actually have a healthy option around. If I'm having a chocolate craving, I'll grab an apple or orange, drink some water and then see how I'm doing after that. If it's one of those unbearable cravings, I'll make cookies but the super-healthy version type (with applesauce instead of oil, etc).

I always want something sweet in the evening, so I've found that brushing my teeth right after dinner works wonders. And I keep sugar-free gum around for emergencies!!!
