How can I motivate myself to drink water?

We are encouraged to drink at least 64 oz. of water a day. Sometimes it's easy to forget to drink or other times I just don't want to. What are some ways that help you stay hydrated?

I have a 32 oz water bottle. It is my personal rule that I have to drink everything in the water bottle two times a day (64 oz). Sometimes I forget until the end of the day and have to drink a ton before bed, but other times I'm really good and have had all 64 oz by noon (I get to drink bonus amounts of water on those days).
It's made it much easier for me using the same water bottle so I can keep track of what I've really had during the day. It also helps that my water bottle has a straw. I love straws and anything that can make it more fun is awesome!

I do the same as Brittney and I always have a jug of cold water in the fridge to refill my bottle. Cold water is more appealing to me. You learn to actually enjoy it after a while.

Sometimes I get sick of just plain old boring water... so I add a little lemon juice or orange juice (straight from the fruit) to it! It makes it easier to go down. Also, I heard that if you are hungry, it might be that you are actually thirsty but you can't tell a difference- so I try to drink some water first, then wait a while until I eat to figure out if I really am hungry :)

I bought one of the big 64oz mugs at the gas station. I fill it with ice and water in the morning. I don't let myself have anything else to drink until that is empty. I do like my diet soda in the afternoon so that is a real motivation for me.
