How can I make exercising be something I want to do?

Getting that extra motivation to get up and move can be hard. What do you do to make exercising something that you want to do rather than 'have' to do?

Motivation is hard.
For me, I have to really ENJOY the workout I'm going to be doing. It HAS to be fun or I'm going to make up excuses. Sometime I like to change it up a little too for variety. If you hate running, then don't do that for your workout... it won't last. Find something you enjoy! Try biking, water aerobics, weight lifting, Zumba, or whatever you can think of to get you moving.
I also have to schedule a time to work out. It has to be part of my calendar. Right now, it's just part of my daily routine which makes it much easier for me (and my baby) because it's just part of our regular day.

Hubby and I recently decided that we were going to pay ourselves to exercise. I guess I thought I could use a little extra motivation. We decided that instead of receiving the 'Mad Money' that we have budgeted out for ourselves we have to earn it each month. We get $1 for every 30 minutes of exercise. Then at the end of the month we get paid.

Scheduling also helps me.
